About Our Team in New Smyrna Beach, FL

Having a previous school background in Medical Assisting helped me get my foot in the door at Atlantic Wellness Center. My husband joined the military in 2013, and after 7 years we decided to move back to New Smyrna Beach, Florida, where we first met in 2010. After living abroad in Germany for three years, I decided to enter the field of Medical Billing and Coding through online courses. Within a few months of working at AWC, I learned the front office side of the job and fill in as a Chiropractic Assistant on some days. I’ve worked here since early 2021, and have loved every minute of it! I was born in Bradenton, but raised in southern Ohio near the Dayton area. I have three children and a puppy to keep me plenty busy on my off days, but can always find time to watch my Ohio State Buckeyes or Cincinnati Bengals football!

Lauren was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and moved to New Smyrna Beach with her family when she was three years old.  She graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School and has worked locally in the restaurant and accounting industry before joining the fantastic team at Atlantic Wellness Center in January 2023. Her interest in chiropractic care was generated from an injury she experienced in 2020 and she has since benefited from the professional care at AWC. Connecting with patients and witnessing their transformation through chiropractic care is what fuels Lauren’s love for her work. Lauren grew up boating and enjoying the water and loves to spend her time with her Golden Retriever Gunner, family and friends.

Born in a small town in upstate New York, I moved to New Smyrna Beach at the age of 14 and quickly fell in love with the community. My journey with Atlantic Wellness Center began as a patient, where I was truly amazed by the care and support I received. That experience sparked my passion for chiropractic care and wellness. I officially joined the AWC team in February 2025, and it has been incredibly rewarding to now be part of the team that once helped me. I genuinely enjoy hearing each patient's story and being greeted by the many smiling faces that walk through our doors every day.
